For the advancing do-it-yourself robot builder,   few skills will prove more essential than soldering. Soldering is a technique for connecting electronic components together using heat to fuse them together on a circuit board with solder wire.

Soldering can also be used for electronic repairs of musical instruments, amplifiers, computers, video equipment or just about any other device using electronics--start fixing your own stuff!

Our two hour workshop is priced at $49.95* and will use an LED blinker kit to teach you how to assemble electronic components to circuit boards. You will learn various techniques and tips as you construct your circuit board and the class will help you to identify different electronic components and their uses.

Some of the topics covered include: circuit construction; wire mending; component removal; simple electronic repairs and troubleshooting.
