Intermediate Workshop

Got a quick learner on your hands? RobotCity's intermediate workshop is the next step for young robot builders who have built a few robots from our beginner workshop or afterschool programs.

The Robotic Arm Edge is a challenging and rewarding project sure to captivate and inspire your young inventor. With five joints(axis), gear boxes and motors, the arm can pick up and manipulate small objects with it's gripper.

You command it's movements with a remote control that you also build with the help of one of our instructors who provide guidance along the way. After the arm is built, students will also get a chance to interface it to a computer and write their own programs to automate the arm's movements!

This workshop is three hours long and is priced at $59.95*.  All tools and supplies needed to built the project will be provided.
